How Do I Send a Quote on ServiceTasker?


ServiceTasker makes it easy for service providers to review job requests and send quotes directly to customers. Follow the steps below to submit a professional and effective quote.


View Available Jobs





Log in to your ServiceTasker account and go to the Leads section. Here you’ll see:




  • Open job requests


  • Job posting dates


  • The number of responses already received


  • Any relevant job details provided by the customer



Tip: Check whether the customer’s contact details are verified. Verified contact information helps ensure smoother communication once you proceed.


Choose a Job to Quote On





When you find a job that suits your skills and availability:




  • Click on the job listing to review the full details


  • Confirm the scope of work, location, and timeframe before proceeding


Accept the Lead





Once your response is prepared:




  • Click on Accept and the credits will be deducted from your wallet.


  • The customer’s contact details will become available after you accept the lead.


  • Now go to the Inbox section and select the job you accepted to chat with the customer.


Prepare Your Quote





You can respond in different ways depending on the job requirements:




  • Provide a Cost Estimate
    Submit a flat fee or hourly rate (including GST if applicable). Clearly mention whether materials are included and note that pricing may be an estimate if the job details are limited.


  • Request a Site Inspection
    For larger or more complex jobs, you can request an on-site visit before confirming pricing. This lets the customer know you’ll be in touch to arrange a suitable time.


  • Ask for More Information
    If you need additional details to quote accurately, ask specific questions about the job requirements, measurements, or expectations.


  • Add Additional Comments
    Include helpful notes, timelines, availability, or clarifying questions to make your response more professional and informative.


After Sending Your Quote





Once your quote is sent:




  • You can continue the conversation through ServiceTasker’s Inbox


  • Follow up promptly to increase your chances of winning the job


Add Private Notes (Optional)





For your own reference, you can add private notes to a job:




  • Go to your Inbox


  • Select the relevant job


  • Click on the Three Dots.


  • Click Add Private Note



These notes are visible only to you and are useful for tracking follow-ups or job details.
