The Wood Lab

We believe in championing old-world craft over fast furniture consumption. Hardwood furniture made by hand, utilising a blend of traditional and modern hand-cut joinery. Informed by mid-century and Japanese design, The Wood Lab's work is designed to feature in one's life and space for generations.

At The Wood Lab, we craft hardwood furniture that celebrates the beauty of nature and the art of traditional joinery. Handcrafted in Byron Bay, each piece is informed by the unique characteristics of sustainably sourced Australian hardwoods, designed for both functionality and longevity. Whether you choose from our growing collection or collaborate with us on a custom project, every creation is built to be cherished for generations.
