I started A Patch of Green because I believe that having a connection to the earth makes life genuinely better. You don't need to own your home, have a big budget, or know the first thing about plants to enjoy a garden that feels like yours.

I'm a horticulturist and landscape designer working with renters, neurodivergent gardeners, and anyone who's felt a bit stuck with their outdoor space. I'll listen to what you actually need, work with your sensory preferences and budget, and bring the plant knowledge to back it up. Everything I do is grounded in sustainable, organic methods because a garden that's good for you should be good for the planet too.

I provide practical, beautiful and sustainable designs specialising in small gardens, native gardens and balconies. For renters, I focus on low-cost and portable solutions so that green space remains accessible to you even if you do not own your home.

Co-gardening

Gardening is often easier when shared with others. This service is for you if you struggle with motivation or require physical assistance due to injury, disability or age. By working side by side, we can build your confidence and create a garden that brings genuine calm, mental wellbeing, and joy to your daily life. NDIS funding available.

Garden care

As a qualified horticulturist, I offer gentle care for gardens that need a softer touch than a standard mowing service provides. This is a quiet maintenance option for those who are sensitive to loud noises, fumes, or harsh chemicals. Using hand tools and organic methods ensures your garden remains a peaceful place for both you and local wildlife.
