When Should You Re-open a Job?
You Haven’t Received Any Quotes Yet
If your job has been live for a few days and hasn’t received any quotes, re-opening it gives your request renewed visibility. When a job is re-opened, ServiceTasker notifies relevant taskers again, increasing your chances of getting responses.
You Received Some Quotes but Want More Options
Even if you’ve already received a few quotes, you may want to compare more taskers. Re-opening the job allows additional professionals who may now be available to view and quote on your task.

Steps to Re-open a Job
- Log in to your ServiceTasker account.
- Go to your Dashboard and open the My Tasks section.
- Find the job you’d like to re-open.
- If the job is eligible, click Re-open Job to make it active again.
Important Things to Know
- Only jobs that have closed automatically can be re-opened.
- Jobs that were manually closed or cancelled cannot be re-opened.
- If your job isn’t eligible, you’ll need to post a new job instead.
