Does my review meet the guidelines?


At ServiceTasker, we value honest and helpful feedback from customers who have hired businesses through our platform. Reviews play an important role in helping other users choose the right service provider and allow businesses to improve their services.



To ensure your review can be published and remains fair and useful, please follow the guidelines below.


Review guidelines




Do’s






  • Only leave a review if you hired and paid the business through ServiceTasker and have first-hand experience with their service.


  • Negative reviews may require proof of engagement, such as an invoice or task confirmation.



Exceptions may include:




  • Site inspections that were affected by unforeseen circumstances


  • Jobs that were scheduled but not completed due to valid reasons


  • Disputes related to poor workmanship or incomplete jobs


  • Be clear, honest, and objective when sharing your experience.


  • Include relevant details explaining why you were satisfied or dissatisfied.


  • Check spelling and grammar to keep your review clear and credible.


  • Mention any discounts, extras, or special arrangements provided by the business.


  • Use your first name, anonymous reviews are not accepted.


  • Keep reviews recent and relevant (services used within the last 12 months).


Don’ts






  • Do not use offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language.


  • Avoid exaggeration, assumptions, or broad generalisations.


  • Do not target individual workers personally, review the business as a whole.


  • Avoid promoting or referencing other businesses or services in your review.


Fake reviews





ServiceTasker does not tolerate fake or misleading reviews, whether positive or negative. This includes reviews posted for your own business or against competitors.



If fake activity is detected, ServiceTasker may take action, including:




  • Removing reviews or restricting account access


  • Suspending or locking business profiles


  • Taking further action in line with platform policies and Australian consumer regulations


Reporting suspicious reviews





If you believe a review is suspicious or breaches our guidelines, please contact the ServiceTasker Support Team. We will investigate and take appropriate action where required.



Please note: reviews older than 6 months may not be investigated.



ServiceTasker reserves the right to remove any review that does not meet these guidelines. All moderation decisions are final.
