If a business contacts you claiming they’re from ServiceTasker but you can’t see them listed against your task, it’s important to take a few quick steps to protect yourself.
What to do next
1. Double-check your task
Log in to your ServiceTasker account and go to My Tasks. Open the relevant job and review the list of businesses that have submitted quotes or unlocked your task.
Only businesses shown here are authorised to contact you about that job.
2. Stop engaging with the business
If the business is not listed, cease contact immediately. Do not share personal details or agree to any work outside the platform.
3. Report the issue
