I would like to request a quote and inspection for repairing and re-waterproofing my residential balcony in Adelaide.
The balcony size is approximately 3.0m × 1.4m and is heavily exposed to afternoon sun, with high surface temperatures during summer.
The existing waterproof membrane has failed. During heavy rain, water leaks into the ceiling below. I have temporarily sealed some joints, which has stopped the leak for now, but I am looking for a proper long-term solution.
I would like to explore the following works:
- Removal of existing tiles and substrate if required
- Installation of a new external balcony waterproofing system (AS4654 compliant)
- A system suitable for strong UV and heat exposure (e.g. torch-on or your recommended alternative)
- Application of a UV-stable protective coating above the membrane
- Replacement of the existing strip drain with a stainless steel linear drain better suited for outdoor conditions
After waterproofing is completed, I plan to install floating IKEA RUNNEN outdoor decking, which will remain removable so the waterproof layer can be inspected in the future.
