Award rules
Version 1 In force from 1 October 2026 · Australia
These rules decide who receives a ServiceTasker award or the Trusted Pro badge. They are the same for every member, and we publish them so any member can see exactly how to qualify.
Who can take part
- Businesses with a paying ServiceTasker membership (at least one card top-up) and an active account.
- Staff and test accounts never take part.
- Nobody can enter, pay for or ask for an award. All numbers come from what already happens on ServiceTasker.
Trusted Pro
Trusted Pro is a standard, not a competition: every business that meets all eight points below is a Trusted Pro. We check on the 1st of every month.
- Paying member: at least one card top-up and an active account
- Identity and ABN checked by our team
- Complete profile: logo, description, services and area
- Takes new leads within 60 minutes (median of the last 90 days, at least 5 leads)
- No more than 25 % of accepted leads refunded (last 90 days)
- No open dispute with a customer
- Account active and approved (not suspended, not waiting for approval)
- A rating of 4.5 or more, once the business has 3 or more ServiceTasker reviews
If a Trusted Pro stops meeting a point, we tell them straight away and they have one month to fix it before the badge comes off. A business that loses the badge can earn it back at any monthly check.
The awards
| Award | What counts | Minimum to qualify | How often |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fastest Response | Median minutes from a new lead being sent to the member accepting it; each lead counts at most 24 hours; automatic accepts are left out. | 5 accepted leads | Every quarter, per state |
| Most Active | Number of leads accepted. | 10 accepted leads | Every quarter, per state |
| Rising Star | Best combined score of members in their first 180 days (from the first card payment): response 40 %, jobs taken 30 %, rating 20 %, low refunds 10 %. | 5 accepted leads | Every quarter, per state |
| Loyal Member | Active (a lead accepted or a top-up) in each quarter of the year; longest membership first. | 12 months a member, no dispute in that time | Once a year, per state |
| Top Rated | ServiceTasker star rating, adjusted so a few reviews cannot win alone: (sum of stars + 4 × 5) ÷ (reviews + 5). | 3 reviews in the year | Once a year, per country |
| Business of the Year | Combined score: rating 30 %, hire rate 20 %, response 20 %, jobs taken 15 %, low refunds 10 %, complete profile 5 %, each ranked inside the member's own state. | A finalist in at least 3 awards of the year | Once a year, per country |
| Most Hired | Jobs hired ÷ leads accepted (the customer's "Yes, I hired" or the business's confirmed "I got the job"). | 10 accepted, 2 hired | Every quarter, per state |
Ties: the member with more accepted leads wins; for Top Rated, more reviews and then the newest review. ACT, TAS and NT form one region. An award needs at least 3 qualifying members in a region; otherwise it is given for the whole country.
How we choose
- 1st The period closes; the numbers are frozen.
- Up to the 8th Late reviews and refunds settle.
- Second week Our team checks the top 3 of each award.
- Second Tuesday Winners are announced and told by e-mail.
Fair play
- Not eligible: suspended, inactive, blocked or unapproved accounts, a cancelled ABN, an open dispute or more than 25 % of accepted leads refunded in the period.
- Only reviews from real ServiceTasker jobs count.
- A member can win at most 2 awards in one period; the next award goes to the runner-up.
- Awards never change who gets a lead or what a lead costs.
- If we later find that a winner broke these rules, we withdraw the award and the certificate check shows it as withdrawn.
Using a badge
- Badges show on the business page and on quotes for 12 months, always with the region and period (for example "Fastest Response · NSW · 2026 Q4").
- Winners may show the badge on their own website and social media with the code we give them. It must link to the check page and must not be changed.
