Final Inspection Checklist • Wet Areas – Bathrooms, toilet, bathroom cabinet, shower/bath recess and glass screen to be scrubbed and cleaned with all grouting to be free from soap residue and mould. • Bathroom walls and ceiling with mould spots to be cleaned. Shower curtain to be washed or replaced. • Oven – Stove top, griller, oven, racks and drip trays to be thoroughly cleaned and free from fat or food residue. • Walls and doors – are to be wiped down (especially around light switches) leaving them free from all marks and cobwebs. Any holes, marks or dents requiring filling to be repaired in a professional manner and re-painted. • Floors – All tiled/timber/vinyl floors to be swept and washed. Skirting boards to be dusted. • Windows – All windows, window sills & tracks to be cleaned inside and out. Flyscreens to be removed and dusted where applicable. • Exhaust fans to be removed, cleaned and replaced. Air vents and air conditioning filters to be dusted or vacuumed. • Cupboards – all cupboards and drawers to be wiped internally including top of cupboards. This includes kitchen cupboards and benches, linen cupboards, laundry cupboards and trough, bathroom cabinets, built in or freestanding wardrobes. All personal items to be removed. • Light fittings – dust/wipe over light fittings and replace all blown light globes with the exception of halogen downlights or spotlights. Please use care when removing lights covers or shades from fittings. • Blinds/Curtains – All venetian blinds to be dusted and any marks removed. Standard lace or scrim to be removed and washed, Fabric curtains to be dusted, vacuumed or dry cleaned. • White Goods – The refrigerator, washing machine and dishwasher to be cleaned (where applicable). • Carpet Cleaning – Carpets and any provided mats are to be professionally steam or dry cleaned. Exterior • Window Sills – All exterior ledges including eaves are to be free from dust and cobwebs. • Gardens – Lawns to be mowed and edged, garden, flower beds and pebble or paved areas to be weeded and shrubs to be pruned. • Paths – driveways, carports, and all paved or concrete paths are to be free from oil, grease leaves and dirt. (Degreaser can be used to remove oil stains). • Refuse – No rubbish, recycling rubbish or personal possessions to be left inside or outside of the property including sheds. This also includes compost heaps.
