I am seeking quotations from experienced air conditioning companies for my home in Clyde, Victoria.
The property is a modern double-storey terrace (approximately 4–5 years old), and I am looking for advice on the most suitable heating and cooling solution for the upstairs living area and bedrooms.
I would appreciate quotations for the following two options:
Option 1
- Supply and install one reverse-cycle split system to service the upstairs open-plan living, dining, kitchen and master bedroom area.
Option 2
- Supply and install a multi-head reverse-cycle split system with four indoor units:
- Upstairs living/dining/kitchen
- Master bedroom
- Bedroom 2
- Bedroom 3
- Decommission and remove the existing gas ducted heating system.
- Advise whether my home is eligible for any current Victorian rebates or incentives.
I am looking for a high-quality installation with long-term reliability and workmanship rather than simply the lowest price.
Could you please include the following in your quotation:
- Your recommended system size(s)
- Your recommended brand(s)
- Model numbers of the proposed systems.
- Total installed price (including GST).
- Whether any electrical upgrades are required.
- Details of the manufacturer's warranty and your installation warranty.
- Confirmation that your technicians are ARCtick licensed and fully insured.
- Estimated installation timeframe.
- Whether a site inspection is required before providing a final quotation.
- Whether you are an authorised dealer or installer for the brands you recommend.
If possible, I would also appreciate your recommendations regarding the best location for both the indoor and outdoor units to maximise performance while maintaining the appearance of the home.
I am available for an onsite inspection and quotation on weekends, or 20 July, 21 July, or 10 August.
If I proceed with your quotation, my preferred installation windows would be:
- Week commencing 10 August, or
- Week commencing 14 September.
